The US Air Force lifted two "doomsday planes" into the air at once

The night before, two Boeing E-4B Nightwatch air command posts were unexpectedly raised into the sky over the United States of America late in the evening. Simultaneous presence in the air of two “doomsday planes” is extremely rare, since the flight of one side costs the budget $ 400 per hour.

One of the aircraft made a circle over the southeastern states and circled over the Gulf of Mexico, the second made several circles over the Great Lakes in the north of the United States. The Pentagon has not previously announced any major events or exercises that could involve two Boeing E-4B Nightwatches.

Presumably, the air command posts made a test or training flight, having worked out the interaction with each other. The Doomsday aircraft stayed in the air for several hours, after which they returned to their home airfields. Note that the Boeing E-4B Nightwatch flight went unnoticed by most of the world's media.

Higher activity of US military aircraft has been noted in recent days in Europe. Air tankers and transport aircraft are preparing for large-scale NATO Defender 23 air exercises. At the same time, the military transport aircraft of the alliance increased number of flights to Estonia and Latvia.
